The sun will come out tomorrow!

Make each day matter, and even if the sun does not come out today, it will come out tomorrow.
“The sun will come out tomorrow, so you gotta hang on till tomorrow, come what may. Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow, you’re only a day away…” Little Orphan Annie taught us this.
Although I have never been on Broadway to experience its marvelous live musicals, I have enjoyed many of their adaptations from Hollywood. Aside from the excellent scores and melodies, the lyrics from those songs have great meaning and inspiration. We sing these songs over and over again, not just in the shower, but to remind us of how wonderful life can be.
Our lives and careers are like a roller coaster ride going up, down, sometimes sideways, and often with surprising twists and turns.
We cherish the good days and learn to manage the not-so-good days. Inspiration drives us forward, and we are constantly looking for more of this form of stimulation. One of the main reasons for enjoying the Broadway musicals is because their stories are realistic and such magnificent inspirations.
My career was successful, but like other successful careers, there were difficult and dark moments. Since 1982, when the movie Annie was first released, her song, “Tomorrow,” was a beacon of light that guided me in the most difficult times. We cannot ever change what has happened, but we must stay positive and believe that something better will come along in the future.
Make tomorrow better than today!
Inspiration can come in many forms, and we are all inspired differently. Whatever works for you, keep doing it. If it does not work, find out why and make the necessary changes. Every day is another day forward and every step takes you closer to your destination. Look back to see where you have come from and look forward to see where you are going.
